About WoW’s vision

WoW’s mission is to use its collection and community to create a more inclusive web3. In the previous 21 months, female artists accounted for only 5% of total NFT art sales. WoW is on a mission to change that.

Unique and Strong women

World of Women, a collection of “unique and strong” women traded on the Ethereum blockchain, told the press channel that their goal is to make Web3 more accessible to women.

They said: “Our mission is to highlight and lift as many female and underserved creators as possible, making the metaverse, not just a landscape designed by men but rather one enriched with as much diversity of thought as possible.”

Main Pillars of the Project

Uplifting the ecosystem by helping artists and sponsoring, educating newcomers projects, increasing attention for women-centric concerns, and giving back to charities are the four critical pillars of this purpose. WoW also wants to help the creators’ Web3 adventures through The Sandbox’s grant, from supporting and mentoring their first mint to their first sale.

Other projects of Sandbox and WoW

The Sandbox and World of Women plan to collaborate on a series of immersive experiences in the metaverse through the WoW Foundation. The WoW Museum on a 2×2 Sandbox LAND, the WoW University offers free online courses on how to get started with Web3, and The WoW Academy, which will act as a mentoring and funding incubator, are just a few of these projects.

The Sandbox just bought Aurora, the most expensive WoW NFT at the time of purchase, for 200 ETH and named her the new “goddess” of The Sandbox. World of Women artist and co-founder Yam Karkai declared that the metaverse will voxelize all 10,000 NFTs “so that our whole community can join us in the Alpha 2.”

Included in the top 20 collections

On OpenSea, both The Sandbox and World of Women are currently among the top 20 collections of all time regarding purchasing and selling volume. WoW had exchanged 55,300 ETH, or $142.7 million, at the time of publication, whereas The SandBox had traded 156,200 ETH, or $403.2 million.

Conclusion

WoW may be gearing up for TV, film, and music options, but thanks to tech investor Guy Oseary, who just added World of Women to his NFT portfolio. WoW NFT holders have complete ownership and intellectual property rights over their assets, similar to the Bored Ape Yacht Club model.
