Fortune Friends Club (FFC) NFTs
Fortune Friends Club (FFC) is a collection of 8,888 unique bao PFPs (profile pictures) that were sold out within a few seconds of public mint. Once these cute little Baos were even trending on the front page of OpenSea. FFC managed to grow from a small community to over 130,000 followers on Twitter and 20,000 members in Discord.
Fortune Friends Club project exploded in popularity and there’s a total trading volume of 1,400 Ethereum on Opensea to this day with a floor price of 0.03 ETH. That makes FFC a multi-million dollar NFT project. Lili, also known as QueenBao in the community, is the founder and lead designer of FFC. The Sydney-based founder recently quit her well-paying job as a Product Manager at Canva to run FFC full-time.
“I am committed to building FFC for years to come, as our mission to celebrate Asian culture is something I’m truly passionate about. The decision to dox myself was always intended from the start. It seems only natural to me to be my genuine self so people who have had a similar life experience can rally around our cause.” said Lili.
Lili also said “while I was growing up, I loved photography, music, and art but never had the chance to truly pursue it. I never entertained the thought of taking subjects beyond math, physics and chemistry, as that option didn’t exist to me.”
An end-to-end creator ecosystem, by creators
FFC is diversifying its offerings to encompass both digital and in-real-life (IRL) experiences. It is currently working on art variations to interact with many metaverses. Baos will be brought to life through actual goods and products. FFC’s own metaverse concept, The Kitchen, is a place where Baos may cook and dine together to build something meaningful.
Preparation is where Baos may improve their skills, learn new things, and put their ideas into action. The Bao Dojo & Creator Fund equips creators with the resources they need to achieve their objectives. Capital, mentorship, education, and the potential to use FFC’s brand and distribution to spread the word are all part of it.
Bao’s space for creation is in the kitchen and they help each other by sharing their experiences, soliciting opinions, and offering advice. Baos can even establish their own Bao IP. NFT members get first-hand discounts on these amazing creations and the Baos celebrate their victories by dining together. Baos meet together in real life to eat meals, play games in Discord, participate in scavenger hunts and engage in other digital activities.
This month, FFC will be launching their wrapped Pixel NFTs, a Kitchen metaverse and hosting events in Singapore, US & Australia.
