Quick Summary:
- BAYC is one of the more prominent NFT series.
- Bored Ape Yacht Club shared new details on its upcoming NFT games in a new video.
The BAYC community is quite large, centered around cartoonish apes and mutants with a similar design template. In the near future, BAYC will release an exclusive video game called Dookey Dash. There have been new details released by the group regarding how NFT owners can access Dookey Dash.
Dookey Dash details were revealed in a video posted to Bored Ape Yacht Club’s Twitter account. The game follows the story of an ape named Jimmy who, well, “takes a shit so atomic, he ripped a damn hole in the space-time continuum.” Another ape, named Curtis, was given a mysterious locked box. The key to that box ended up in Jimmy’s stomach, and the game finds players on a quest to retrieve it.
In order to play Dookey Dash, players will need a Sewer Pass. This digital token of admission is only available for BAYC members but can be used by anyone. Players that own additional NFTs will be able to secure some extra bonuses. Sewer Passes can be claimed between January 17 and February 8. The game itself run from January 18 – January 19. Through the sewer, players will attempt to survive as long as possible while picking up items that can be redeemed for rewards.
There is a leaderboard for Dookey Dash, though the process seems quite complicated. It is possible to exchange Sewer Passes, but high scores are tied to the combination of Sewer Passes and wallets. Consequently, if you set a score and then trade your Sewer Pass to a friend, that score will disappear. However, if you return the Sewer Pass to your wallet, the score will remain. There can only be one score associated with a sewer pass.
